Questa illustrazione è stata una delle prime realizzate per presentare e promuovere un progetto di design, consistente in un set da barba: Rasoio, pennello e relativa vaschetta. Un tipo che si rade al mattino, utilizzando questi strumenti realizzati in legno di varie essenze.

Beard set, Derwent pencils on Fabriano cardboard. This illustration was one of the first to present and promote a design project, consisting of a shaving set: razor, brush and relative tray. A type that shaves in the morning, using these tools made of wood of various essences.

Il disegno è nato come un’illustrazione a corredo del primo progetto che è stato messo in produzione per Artista Visitatore alla fine degli anni 80′.

Il progetto nasce dall’esigenza di dare una forma più organica ai rasoi di impostazione industriale, attraverso la modellazione di blocchi in legno per creare un set piacevole da toccare, accarezzare, esporre, e per i più temerari, farsi anche la barba.

The drawing was born as an illustration accompanying the first project that was put into production by the Visitor Artist at the end of the 80s. The project stems from the need to give a more organic form to the razors of industrial setting, through the modeling of wooden blocks to create a nice set to touch, caress, exhibit, and for the most daring, even shave.

Barbe rade e spelacchiate, folte e ricce, brune, rosse, nere come la pece o bianche immacolate. Peli irti e duri, indomiti, o selvaggi, oppure curati e pettinati, rasati o impomatati, sfoltiti o estratti con destrezza.!
