Ercolibro – book holder

Questo leggi libri nasce da una storia che mi raccontava mio padre da piccolo, di un bambino molto forzuto che si chiamava “Giovannin Reggimontagne”. Poi sono arrivati i ricordi delle Cariatidi che leggono il porticato sulla collina del Partenone, e i prigioni di Michelangelo. Per tornare coi piedi per terra, una lastra tagliata e piegata che crea una solida figura in grado di sostenere il peso dei libri nelle librerie.

This book holder is born from a story that told me my father when i was a child, a very strong child who was called “Giovannin Reggimontagne”. Then came the memories of the Caryatids reading the portico on the hill of the Parthenon, and the prisons of Michelangelo. To get back down to earth, a cut and bent slab that creates a solid figure that can support the weight of books in bookstores.
